A New Home for Ice Sports in Central Virginia
The newly opened Richmond Ice Box is bringing expanded opportunities for hockey, figure skating, and community recreation to Central Virginia. Located in Chesterfield County, the first phase of the new facility features an NHL-sized ice rink and is expected to support youth and adult hockey programs, figure skating, tournaments, and other ice sports. Phase two will add a second NHL-sized rink and additional spectator seating.
Supporting Construction from the Ground Up
Zannino Engineering was proud to support the construction of this exciting project by providing construction materials testing and special inspections throughout construction. Our services included earthwork testing, foundation and footing inspections, concrete inspections, structural masonry inspections, structural steel inspections, and asphalt testing and monitoring.
